  • As a Senior Digital Consultant at VIMA Marketing, I led a boutique digital marketing agency where I initiated and implemented traffic and conversion uplift SEO strategies across various domains in the travel, finance, education, and co-working office vertical markets. Using the keyword research insights, I developed a comprehensive content plan that maps out what types of content assets need to be created – blog posts, guides, videos, etc. In addition, using inverted pyramid content methodologies and on page anchor texts, users were driven to the exact content they desired to read increasing user experience metrics.

Using HubSpot methodologies for inbound marketing content, I created ToFU to BoFU content strategies increasing ranking over the highest amount of total keyword search volume than any of the client’s competitors. Using siloed (pillar) and cluster page interlinking increased domain authority and stabilised highly competitive keywords from pogoing in the SERPS.

I worked closely with the content team to optimise all new content for target keywords through on-page elements like titles, headers, meta descriptions, image alt text, and more. My role was content planning, templating, project management and quality control.

Regularly auditing existing content is crucial to identify any gaps or opportunities. I analysed metrics like search traffic, rankings, backlinks, social citation and user engagement to pinpoint which content is performing well and what needs to be updated, consolidated, or expanded upon. I believe in content re-appropriation – using successful content in one channel and using it in another. Using written word and static landing pages for Video SEO, bought leads via another channel, at times with increased SERP ranking than the original landing page.
